EBBERSTON WITH YEDDINGHAM PARISH ACTION PLAN SPRING 2004 (to be reviewed annually at the Parish Annual Meeting)
To re-vitalise the existing Neighbourhood Watch Scheme. Police invited to attend public meeting to help re-vitalise scheme and encourage more participation. In place by Aug/Sept 04
The setting up of Local Produce Sales. Needs further investigation, favoured by over 50% of questionnaire residents. Possibly by arranging an open meeting of interested residents.

Yeddingham Village Hall Improvements. Village Hall committee to investigate.
Ebberston Village Hall, car park re-surfacing will help remove parked cars from Main Street.
Parking (on street) in Ebberston has become problem due to the shortage of available off street parking and the increase in car ownership over recent years.
A number of difficulties have been identified by users of the local public rights of way. Identify where and what the problems are.
Produce Information leaflets, maps etc showing local PRW’s.
Produce an up to date list of local services for distribution to all households (Ebberston Parish). To be published annunally in a newsletter and put on the Parish Council web-site.

The replacement of Notice boards at Ebberston, Yeddingham and Bickley sites Parish Council to investigate the size, etc of Notice boards get estimates from local craftsmen.
Bickley does not have a post box, nearest one is 2 miles away. Contact Post Office to see possibility of one next to the public phone box.
The poor state of County Council roads at Bickley. Contacted NYCC and Forest Enterprises NYCC.
Organise more Evening classes/talks as requested from questionnaire. A number of possible topics have been identified.
